Lindsea Abbott, MD

Background:

Originally from San Diego, but grew up in Minnesota and Iowa, went to college in Denver and medical school in Chicago. I was interested in exploring the East Coast and I moved out to DC in 2016 to start residency at Georgetown and it was the best decision I ever made. I loved my time in residency and stayed on for a fellowship year in point of care ultrasound while also acting as a part-time attending at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD. I'm now working in the community but staying on PRN at MedStar Washington Hospital Center to continue teaching residents. My interests include medical education and POCUS. Happy to answer any questions about the residency program, life in DC, or community medicine.

Current Position:

Attending Physician, Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center, Woodbridge, VA
