In 2013, I graduated from Meharry Medical College; an HBCU in Nashville, TN. Following that, I was at Georgetown for emergency medicine residency and sports medicine fellowship between 2013 -2017. After finishing residency, I started contracting with Envision, working in community emergency medicine. I was able to start a twice weekly sports medicine clinic with Complete Health Partners in Nashville, TN. We ran that clinic for about 18 months, before ending it so that I could accompany my wife in El Paso, TX for her own sports medicine fellowship.
