I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and completed my undergrad at The University of Texas in Arlington (the same city where the Dallas Cowboys play!). After 3 years as an ED scribe and an Ophthalmic tech, I journeyed across the state to attend medical school at Texas Tech in El Paso. Eager to experience a new corner of the country, I became drawn to D.C for its rich black history and culture, as well as its abundance of indoor and outdoor activities. I couldn't be more thrilled to be here!
