Born in Beijing, grew up in a poor neighborhood in Southwest VA (thank god for welfare programs), went to Radford University for undergrad, and recently graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. I’ve worked as a data analyst, Subway “sandwich artist”, nursing assistant, student nurse, scribe, and tutor.
Outside Interests and Hobbies:
I am what some would call a professional dabbler - someone beset with the anxiety that there are too many things to try in life with too little time to do so. I've dabbled in mountain biking, snowboarding, rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, paddleboarding, surfing, scuba diving, skydiving, bungee jumping, piano, painting, cooking, ping pong, weightlifting, long-distance running, solo traveling, breakdancing, competitive eating, etc. Currently, I've settled on spending my free time focusing on eating, cooking, exercising, exploring DC, spending quality time with quality people, and eating. Actively searching for live music, hiking, somewhere to play ping pong, and cheap international flights.
