Applicant Dinner

Current program residents host a casual dinner for interviewees, either the evening of or the night before their interview day.

(Dinners will be held at a location soon to be announced).

Applicants who are invited for an interview are welcome to come to the dinner on the week of their interview, or if more convenient, can come to any other interview dinner date.

Accommodations

When considering a hotel, be aware that your interview day starts at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, a location not easily accessible by the Metro. However, we do validate parking at the hospital. If you choose to stay a night and do not have a rental car, we recommend staying in DuPont Circle, Foggy Bottom or Georgetown as taxis tend to be readily accessible from these areas. Some applicants stay in nearby Arlington, Virginia in the Rosslyn or Pentagon area as these hotels can be less expensive. Likewise, some choose to stay in the Bethesda-Chevy Chase, Maryland area as one does not have to cross a Potomac River bridge in the morning to get to the hospital.
